Built by Steve Morris in 2001
5 HP Honda engine and hydraulic / mechanical drive.

Production designed by him for a West Valley Live Steam club project, 1978-1981

1890's vintage wooden gondola with milled aluminum plate underframe. Purchased as an incomplete scratch-built project and completed by Andy Morrison in 1985.

1940's vintage steel gondola with 1970's vintage L & N paint scheme. Commercially built and painted vendor's display car purchased new by Andy Morrison's father in 1980 at a Los Angeles IBLS meet. "You don't want to have to take that heavy car all the way back to Florida, do you?" Favorable deal made.

Bench-style riding car purchased used by Andy Morrison in 2000. One of three identical cars which were part of a large group of cars that were found in Oklahoma through the efforts of Dwayne Biggs and were bought by various CSME club members. Repainted October 2006

Hopper car purchased used in 2000 as a riding car with dummy hoppers. Was formerly used by the Blue Ridge Live Steamers in Virginia. Andy replaced all the frame work and slope sheets between the truck bolsters so that working hoppers could be added for ballast service. He also designed and added a unique fixed position ballast diverter which keeps dropping ballast rock off the rails but does not have to be raised or lowered and works equally well in either direction, features not found on commercially available cars.

Drovers' caboose purchased very used in the mid 1980's by Andy Morrison. Part designs seem to indicate that this model may be as much as 50 years old. It has had at least three owners. Andy has gradually improved it over the years by replacing the trucks, couplers, end beams, steps, and by adding manually actuated brakes (car can serve as a Conductor's car with the roof removed). Still to be done is a complete appearance "make-over".
