  Prototype info:

  Real Pillar cranes were standard catalog items offered from many companies and came in 3 basic sizes 500 lb capacity, 1,000 lb capacity & 2,000 lb capacity.

  If you needed to lift something more than 2,000 lbs then a larger custom crane would be needed.

  Most Pillar Cranes looked very much like this model with slight variations from company to company. These cranes were common through most of the 20th century until welded I-beam/post cranes replaced them as needed in the latter part of the century.

You could find them on just about any loading dock doing any number of tasks as well as Station platforms, REA docks, Freight houses, manufacturing companies, junk yards, etc... the list goes on and on...

Use it with or without the included Stone Base.
