Prototype info:
Stamp mills were used to process the raw ore from the mines. This was done by feeding the rocks under stamps to be crushed. The Burnside is a modeled after a typical 20 stamp mill. This means the mill had twenty, 1,000lb stamps in groups of 5 pounding the ore on the top floor of the mill. After this the steps varied from mill to mill, but the objective was the same, to separate the gold from the rock!
