John's "O" scale 40' x 60' layout features the Rock Island Railroad as it appeared in 1949 through 1951. Professionally sceniced by John Ellenbach, the layout is about 95% complete with plenty of mini-scenes scattered throughout. The layout, which can handle three separate trains running at the same time, features plenty of large, standard gauge, steam locomotives and long strings of beautifully weathered rolling stock.
