Eric Brooman's, "Utah Belt," railroad has been featured many times during the past several decades in both Railroad Model Craftsman and Model Railroader magazines. This current version features the southwestern area of northern New Mexico with its 165’ mainline running through desert and mountain scenes. An around-the-walls design with a center peninsula style is modeled with two hidden staging areas of six 20’ reverse loops stacked over each other. Modern EMD power can be seen pulling Intermodal, unit coal trains and general manifests over this beautifully landscaped inter-mountain bridge route.
